Effective June 1 Gray Line is proud to offer a daily tour to Houmas House Plantation.
This River Road Estate, with its historic mansion and 38 breathtaking acres of lush, manicured gardens mixed with various water features and walking paths, is unlike any other plantation home in the South. The estate grew in prominence in the 1800's as a productive agricultural site based on the sugar industry. With magnificent gardens, water features, and home, the owners have added restaurants, cabins and soon a river museum to the list of "must-see" portions of the estate.
